We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who is also the Son of Man. We affirm our belief in His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35); sinless life (Hebrews 7:26; I Peter 2:22); miracles (Acts 2:22; 10:38); substitutionary work on the cross (I Corinthians 15:3; II Corinthians 5:21); bodily resurrection from the dead (Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39; I Corinthians 15:4); and exaltation to the right hand of God. We believe that man was originally created in the image of God, that he fell into sin through the first Adam, and that he is responsible for all sin that causes him to be separated from God and lost eternally. (Genesis 1:26, 27; 2:17; 3:6; Romans 5:12-19)
